It's New Years Eve, but Alex and I won't be celebrating with sequins and bubbly on the streets of Charlotte this year. Instead, we are staying in with sushi take-out and enjoying some QT with our new little bundle--Isla Elizabeth. It's almost cliché to say "savor every moment with your kids because they grow up so fast," but as a mom of a 4-week old, I am already experiencing this feeling. She has changed so much in a month that I want to make sure we keep our family and friends back home in Kentucky informed of all the giggles, coos, and maybe even some frowns. So, one of my resolutions for 2011 is to start blogging regularly because I'm certain to forget to share half the details in emails and phone calls. Hope you enjoy!
